What can I see about a client, and why is some of it hidden?

Your plans, visits and payments are always yours to see. What a client does on their own needs their consent.

Athletes own what they log in the app. Your business sees it only when the client shares it, and each part is shared separately.

Always visible

  • The training plans, diet plans and coached trainings you write for them. They belong to your business.
  • Their visits, events, packs and payments with your business.
  • Your team's notes about them. Clients never see these.

Visible from the start

  • Recovery: how rested each muscle is, so you can fit their training. It is on by default, and the client can turn it off.

Visible only once the client shares it

  • Questionnaire: their training and diet questionnaires, body details and gyms. Shown on the Training tab. With it, you can also adjust their questionnaire for them.
  • Workouts: the workouts they do on their own. Shown on the Training tab.
  • Diet: their meal log, meal photos and weigh-ins. Shown on the Diet tab.

How a client shares

In their app, under Settings and then Sharing, the client ticks what your business may see. Changes apply at once, and they can take any of it back at any time. You aren't notified; the section on their page simply shows that it's private.

A client with no app account has nothing to share yet, so those sections stay empty until you invite them.

Tip: Explain to a new client why you'd like their meal log or workouts. Most share once they know what you'll use it for.
